G-Dragon emerges to shoot a TV commercial as scheduled

According to a reliable source, G-Dragon took part in the shooting of the TV commercial for the global outdoor brand North Face on October 5 along with the other members of Big Bang.


When the news came out that G-Dragon was caught for smoking marijuana and had the indictment suspended, the shooting was said to be cancelled. However, the shooting was carried out as arranged.


Someone in the know says, “The advertising world is one of the most sensitive industries about celebrities’ images. As for the case of G-Dragon, however, the contract between Big Bang and North Face is likely not to be vitiated, considering the group’s popularity and the indictment suspended.


Besides North Face, the other brands for which G-Dragon has played a model hardly brought up any question about the trouble so far. The scandal seems not to give a severe battering to the image of G-Dragon.


It is said that the fact that G-Dragon is not a habitual smoker and has his indictment suspended had a crucial role in helping him survive the event.


Earlier, the main TV channels announced that they found no suitable reason to ban him from appearing on TV because his indictment was suspended.


Regardless of the favorable treatments for him, it is said that he has some time for self-restraint and self-reflection for his careless behavior. YG Entertainment made an official announcement on October 5, “G-Dragon could be confident when he was under prosecutor’s investigation because he is not a habitual smoker. That’s why he took part in pre-planned activities as scheduled. We were also surprised to know that the result of drug test with his hair showed a positive reaction.”

Recently, YG Entertainment’s CEO Yang Hyun Suk watched the “C’est si Bon” segment on “Come To Play“. While enjoying the show, Yang expressed that, “This year is another turning point for the Korean music industry.” What is the meaning behind this thought?

Last year, YGE’s girl group 2NE1 set a new album record with their ‘Triple Crown’ win, and now Big Bang is conquering the music industry with their all-kill comeback. Yang called OSEN out of the blue and asked, “Do you know ‘C’est si Bon’?”
