G-Dragon accidentally flashed a club?

Big Bang’s charismatic leader, G-Dragon, revealed a story about how he once flashed his chest in public.
GD appeared with Seungri for the March 1st episode of SBS’s “Strong Heart“, and the maknae told a shocking story about how GD’s chest was once exposed. Seungri explained, “GD is very popular with the girls at clubs. One summer night, he went to the club wearing a sleeveless shirt. He was sweating a bit because he was dancing, and he was sitting directly under the lights“.
GD then caught the baton from Seungri and continued, “People are like that sometimes. Time to time, they want people to recognize who they are. I wanted to see people talk about me so I deliberately sat on a sofa in a place that could be easily seen“.
However, things didn’t go exactly as planned, as GD’s sleeveless shirt caused a big problem for him. His shirt got shifted by the sweat and it exposed his chest. GD explained, “The shirt kept moving inch by inch. My whole chest was exposed,” cracking up the audience with his embarrassing story.
All we can say is that there were some extremely lucky girls at the club that night!

1,200 Japanese VIPs traveled to Korea for Big Show 2011

Over 1,200 Japanese fans traveled to Korea to see boy band Big Bang's return to the stage after a more than two-year absence.

The group held three concerts at the Olympic Park Gymnastic Stadium in Seoul from Friday to Sunday, with many of the Japanese visitors watching more than one of them. According to Look Korea Tour, which brought the fans here on a tour package, some 60 percent attended two concerts and 15 percent all three.

"I'd watch their concerts 10 or 20 times as long as I could get to see their faces," said one Japanese woman at the concert.

Japanese fans of Korean pop groups pay from W900,000 to W1.9 million (U$1=W1,127) for three- or four-day tours, which include attending concerts or other band events. These tourists tend to spend little money on shopping or sightseeing since their primary purpose is to watch the concerts.

Fan threw snacks at T.O.P?

Seoul, Korea – Big Bang’s Seungri talked about a startling occasion of one fan who threw snacks at T.O.P.’s face.

On February 28, on SBS’s broadcast of Night After Night (starring Tak Jehoon, Park Myungsoo, Kim Jaedong, After School’s Uee, CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa, and Big Bang’s Daesung) featured guests from the likes of 90s teen star H.O.T.’s Moon Hee Jun, Sechs Kies' Eun Jiwon, G.O.D’s Kim Tae Woo, and current idol, Big Bang’s Seungri.

Big Bang will hit 100,000 mark in sales?

In retrospect, it was probably a smart move for artists to reshuffle their comeback schedules, as Big Bang dominated the Korean music market in both online and offline sales.

On February 28th, Hanteo reported that Big Bang has sold a record-breaking 100,000 units of their latest mini-album. On February 28th alone, they sold 58,000 copies. This is an enormous achievement, as it normally takes top groups a full year to sell 100,000 units.

Big sales numbers in Korea are generally lower than that of other countries thanks to the prevalence and ease of illegal downloading. Last year, B2ST gained attention for being the only rookie group to have sold over 100k units, but that was with the release of four mini-albums and a grueling promotion cycle. According to Hanteo, the top seller in 2010 was Super Junior’s “BONAMONA“, which sold 129,000 units.

Big Bang also accrued another achievement, as they entered the ‘U.S. Top 10 iTunes album charts’ for the very first time, peaking at #6.

EDIT: The article's title [Big Bang hits 100,000 mark in sales] is just misleading. The reporter is just predicting that it will pass 100k today judging by the sales trend, but it's a national holiday in Korea so that's not happening. (flibbertigibbet @ 6theory)

Note: Because Big Bang released their album on Thursday, and the week starts on Monday for Music Bank, so Big Bang only gets half of the week counted, while everyone else had a whole week of sales. YG always releases their albums on a Thursday because they know they can win with only half a week of sales, saving more sales for the following week.

Big Bang might get over 25k points in total with digital + album scores alone the following week when they get a whole week's worth of sales recorded.
