K-Pop is expected to see more rosy days this year, as long-awaited boy groups are planning to make their comebacks come spring.Two of the most anticipated boy groups, Big Bang and Shinhwa, will be coming back in March with new albums.
It’s been reported that YG Entertainment’s stylist, Ji Eun, gave a special lecture at the Seoul Art Technical College. During the guest lecture, Ji Eun stated, “For idol groups, it’s important to respect each member's preference and express their distinct characteristics.”
She added, “For example, Big Bang’s TOP doesn’t like revealing clothes, so we avoid them entirely.”
Big Bang is aiming to make a big comeback in 2012.The group will release an album in February, followed by a set of concerts titled Big Show in Seoul from March 2-4.It is undecided whether the new album will be a full studio album or a mini album, but the Big Bang members are currently working hard on their new album and preparations for their concert.With the new set of promotions, Big Bang will attempt to rebound higher after slipping up with Daesung’s car crash and G-Dragon’s drug scandal.

Big Bang and 2NE1′s agency, YG Entertainment recently warned their fans of Twitter accounts using their artists' names.The agency posted a list of their official social network service accounts on 2NE1′s official Facebook account with the comment, “This is the list of YG Entertainment’s official social network service accounts and our artists’ individual accounts.”They added, “All the other social network service accounts, which are not listed are using the agency and the singers names. So if there is anybody who followed those accounts, please delete or block them. We are advising people who are managing those false accounts to close.”
YG Entertainment’s 15th Anniversary YG Family Concert jumped outside of Korea to score a huge success in Japan.YG Entertainment artists Jinusean, Big Bang, 2NE1, Se7en, Gummy, Tablo and Psy performed in Osaka, Japan from January 7-8 to shake up the 80,000 fans who gathered in the Kyocera Dome.As soon as 2NE1 announced the start of the concert with its debut single Fire, the dome fired up into a giant club, and when Big Bang followed, the crowd greeted them with wild cheers.
